We have been working like crazy the past few weeks while the weather is still pleasant in the yard. So many leaves to clean up, hedges, tree trimming and debris removal. Its quite the undertaking. We could actually fill one of those giant dumpsters! Brady is a pro with the chainsaw and the kids are a great help. Little Grayson has tolerated it all but I wish he had a babysitter some days.

The garage is a big mess. Too much stuffs. We are in the process of trying to clean it up as well. In order to put the things in proper places, the falling down barn has to be tackled. Once that is cleaned out and evaluated for repairs, we can finally make room. Can't wait to be able to one day step into the garage and actually find something quick and be able to store the kids bikes there too instead of the atrium! 

Hailey is excited about her new garden plot. It used to be the strawberry patch. I have had that patch for a few years and it did well until last year. They all croaked. But I am also happy that she has a section to tend. Brady bought 100 bags of new soil to add to the main garden, trimmed out a ton of trees blocking the view. Excited about this as I also think it will cut down on the mosquitoes once the sun gets in the creek some more to dry those nasty creatures up! Excited about the plants we planted and watching them grow too!

We ALL have BIG plans to build a fort this summer. It will be a work in process - especially with all our grand ideas :). They have wanted one forever and its time. Excited to play outside with the kiddos this summer and eat yummy foods. I missed that last summer. They spent way too much time inside. I hope to never be sick again but if I am I am hiring someone to play with my babies!
