When Hailey needed to use the restroom, I took the opportunity to take her and Hunter on a super fast tour of grandmother's home pointing out things I remembered and liked as a child. I wish I would have taken pictures of every room.

I found out later that the seahorses that have been above the bathtub forever were given to grandmother by my Uncle Brent. Never knew that. 

I remember sleeping on this bed on the front porch with the windows open. The other side has bookshelves and many books!

Grandmother loves dolls. I remember getting many homemade ones from her and looking at several with her at the county fairs. When Hailey and I visited after mom passed away, she let Hailey put her baby doll in the doll highchair in the background. Hailey loved this at the time and even tried to sit in it herself! I love the fact that she always makes her bed. I can't say I do that everyday.

I also wanted to show the kids the outhouse grandfather put in years ago in the back of the shed. There was a working door that lead out to the backyard to the left of the picture. I remember using this and putting some powder in after that. Fun times!
