The day before school started, we played and had a lot of fun. Hailey got her piggies painted at the salon. She chose pink and had the lady draw flowers on them because it reminded her of when she did it with Aunt Tessa. They turned out cute. Since she was wearing the wrong shoes, she got the ever so cute foam slip on shoes that made Hailey laugh and walk like a duck.

She also started another year at gymnastics. She is excited to be going again. She loves to jump around. Not sure how serious she is about it but she loves going and it has helped her be much more in control of her ever FAST GROWING BODY!

I did try to let Hunter try out gymnastics for fun but he flat out refused and told me it was just for girls! What? He threw the biggest fit and was so happy to leave the building. I wasn't upset one bit he didn't want to do it - just the fit he threw. He is happy watching Hailey though. Silly boy.

We met up with Brady for dinner at Freddy's Frozen Custard. We had never been there and decided to try it out after her gymnastics class. The food was good. Hailey had a delicious looking dessert and the brownie that she worked so hard to get down to wound up on the floor as she was attempting to cut it into pieces with her spoon. She was so sad but her daddy went and got her another one. They wouldn't let him pay for it and gave it to him for free. We also traded out Hunter's cone and put it into a cup. He can't lick fast enough yet. Nice manager there!

Hunter is on another eating spree. Guess he is fixing to grow some more too!

Hailey looked so much older to me in her cute Old Navy dress she picked out to wear. She also wanted to sport her new sparkly shoes. Her are some blurry pics of her first day of First Grade!

Her last year of Kindermusik has also started back up again. She has loved this program. I did manage to get Hunter into a class right after hers on Tuesday's. He was a little anxious but he didn't mind once Hailey and I escaped the room after about 5 minutes. He knows Mrs. Ginger and it was so cute to see him interacting and answering her questions.

First Grade is going okay. We are all adjusting. She has a brand spanking new teacher who was hired the day before school began. Her teacher moved here 3 weeks ago and also got married 3 weeks ago! Hailey likes her and I wish her the best. She loves her friends from Kindergarten and has already been to 3 birthday parties. Here is to new skills being learned and more friendships formed!

*I miss her here at home though and so does Hunter!!!
