This just cracks me up. Smokey and Fran's friend had an old propane tank and they decided to have it painted to look like a bobber! It sits outside one of their gate entrances. They told me people have been stopping and taking a double take at it and one even stopped for a picture. So I just had to do the same!

Gigi had the tank for years and wanted to paint it like a baseball. Then, the propane company said it was obsolete and she had to replace it with another tank. She did't want 2 propane tanks in her yard - hence, "The Bobber" was born. Gigi put a rubber snake on top of it to deter the birds. Chris was in his shop and some locals who walk their dogs everyday ran up and asked for a shovel - they wanted to kill the snake. "The Bobber" is a great landmark!
