After checking in at the front desk, we walked over to the lodge diner. The food was really good and we were hungry. Then we went and checked out our cabins. They don't look like much from the outside but I loved them and where we were nestled. Right outside our cabins down the hill was an open clearing in the woods. Sticks were gathered for walking and we took a brief walk. It was beginning to get dark. We found a t-pee someone had built back in the woods. Guess it pays to explore a little! It was a fun find for the kids. We hung out in our cabin for a bit, the girls painted some mirrors Hailey and I found at Hobby Lobby for fun and then we all went on a night walk around the cabin block area. It was a very good day of sight-seeing!

* We were very lucky to score any lodging at Yellowstone. Stuff gets booked way in advance. Some months back, Jennifer, Daenon and I began looking at properties. They found these and I recommend the F-9 section. It was a good price too. Thanks guys!
