Hunter turned the big SIX on January 9th. When he woke, I surprised him with a new bear. He loves stuffed animals. He promptly named it cuddles. It is super soft. I've had it since our trip to Ruidoso, New Mexico for Thanksgiving. He fell in love with this bear at the cabin we stayed at for the holiday. We took number 6 cookies to school to celebrate with his Kindergarten class. Our family was also recovering from the flu so his party didn't quite happen like I had wanted. I really wanted (and so did he) to have a friend party. It just didn't work out in any direction. But despite it all, I think he had a good birthday. We love our little growing guy!

Hunter is into army related things at the moment so his wrapping paper and cake were theme appropriate :) Don't you think Hailey did an excellent job wrapping up his gifts for us?

Grammy and Smokey came over to celebrate with us. Hunter likes banana bread so she made him SIX loaves! Hunter said that was a lot. We froze them so he could enjoy them all. She also painted him a birthday card which he promptly put to the side and didn't fully appreciate. One day he will see it in his keepsake stash and love it. Sorry Grammy!

His big gift was a new big boy BIKE! I think Brady picked out a fun one. He was thrilled.

I absolutely love my Hunter boy. He is the sweetest and most helpful child. Glad he's ours.
