Kindermusik Summer Camp

I signed Hailey up to attend a one week summer camp at her Kindermusik class. It ended today and she really enjoyed the entire week. I took a few not so good quality pictures with my cell phone this week. I missed getting one on Monday. It was camping day and she brought her flashlight.  Everyday the door and room were transformed into fun!

Tuesday was Water Day. She wore her swim suit. They went outside her side door and splashed in a pool for a few minutes. Her teacher's house is right next door to the building so it's her own backyard!

Wednesday was Farm Day (and also Smokey's birthday!) She wore a cute dress that had flip flops on it and after putting it on she commented on how people probably don't wear that kind of stuff to the farm. Funny thing to me is that I usually do get her all themed up and matchy for fun.

Thursday was Bubble Day. The night before she wondered if her room was going to be in a giant bubble. It delighted her that it was!

Friday was Jungle Day and her last day. I also set up a slot for Hunter to go in the Fall. His eyes lit up when I asked him if he wanted to do something. He is so patient when we take her places. It's time for him to do something special too!

After class we drove here:

For almost 3 years, Hailey has thought that the cute little building we pass by on the corner was a Dippin Dot place. She loves that ice cream. It is always closed during the school year. So we made our first trip there. Snow cone stands are not places we frequent. We make them in the summer time but it just isn't some place we go to often. In fact, she was about 2 or 3 since she had one from a stand! I made them wear yucky clothes. Hailey isn't the cleanest eater in world. I put their hats on but it was just too sunny and HOT to sit there for a super long time enjoying the treat and come to find out, they weren't all that messy like I had expected.  We still have a no food/drink rule in the new truck so I carefully put them in the cup holders in the door and drove back around the corner and parked under the big tree outside her music class. We got in the back of the pickup truck and enjoyed our treat. Since they haven't had too many yet, they both wanted root beer ones. I got an orange cream one. Yum. They all came with 2 gummy candy worms. I have odd kids who don't like candy that much so they immediately pulled them out and handed them to me and then I wound up eating them! So as luck would have it, Hailey also needed to use the bathroom. The door was locked so we waited for the next session to start. Her teacher happened to come out and ask me if I had left a black bag. Umm YES and I didn't know it yet! I put it down to take a picture in her room. I almost lost my ipad. That would have stunk because I really love that thing. So in conclusion (hee, hee), Kindermusik camp was a success and her first official summer camp of any kind!
